Ayurvedic Lymphatic Massage is a manual therapy that uses a hot herbal compress and is focused rhythmic movements in the direction of lymph flow. It encourages the lymph channels to boost the flow of lymph and drain excess fluid from the body. It not only has specific benefits for many health conditions but is a beautiful treatment for relaxing the body and reducing stress and anxiety. This massage is signature, as I mix in the gentler elements of Ayurvedic massage on the extremities. Lymphatic System: The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph, a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells, throughout the body. Lymph travels through the body via the skeletal muscle pump and is aided by gentle exercise and manual massage.
